Clearwave Fiber Provides Free Wi-Fi at 6 Locations in Valdosta

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, which has left many residents without power and Internet access, Clearwave Fiber is stepping up to keep the community connected by offering free Wi-Fi at six locations throughout Valdosta. 

Clearwave Fiber is also offering a charging station and free water at the Remerton parking lot on Baytree Road from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. today through Friday, Oct. 4.

The public should be able to access the free Wi-fi within 1 mile of the following locations:

  • North Oak Street on the corner by Boy Scout Troop 454

  • 4167 Old US 41

  • Bemiss Hamby Lane

  • 312 Baytree Rd.

  • Corner of North Valdosta Rd. and Country Club Road

  • 6005 N Oak Street Ext

The network, called Clearwave Fiber Public Wi-Fi, is accessible without a password, allowing easy access for all who need it. These hotspots are available to the public 24/7, ensuring that residents can stay in touch with loved ones, access important information and continue working remotely during this challenging time.
