My name is Miloy Schwartz, and I'm with Lemonade Marketing Firm in downtown Albany. A lot of people don't understand the concept of working with a marketing firm. They feel like you've got to be a big business to be able to warrant having outside help, or at least a medium‑size business, when in fact we work with even micro‑size businesses. It really boils down to, if you don't have time to handle your marketing needs, then you need to outsource them.

Most people barely have enough time to run the business that they have. They certainly don't have time to handle marketing. Marketing's something that has to be done consistently. You have to position the brand well, or you're either hurting your brand or it's just not growing. So, one of the big selling points for working with a marketing firm, especially in this market, is that whatever it is that we are creating for you or whatever project we're managing, we have such a close relationship with our vendors, whether it's our printer, our sign‑maker, our videographer, they're going to give us the best price that they're able to give, and we don't mark it up. So then we're able to pass those savings on to the client, our client. So, before you even discuss how much better your marketing would be if it were handled by professionals, the things that we're delivering are going to be done by the vendors that we believe to be the best in this area and at the best price that we've been able to find in this area. So there are a million reasons to use a marketing firm, but that's one that I think a lot of people don't realize.
