As part of the statewide celebration of Georgia Cities Week, the City of Valdosta Public Works Department is delighted to announce the upcoming Touch-A-Truck event. Taking place on Friday, April 26, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, this exciting event offers the community a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of fascinating trucks and heavy machinery.

Public Works Administrator Larry Ogden expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, "The Touch-A-Truck event is a fantastic opportunity for the community to gain a deeper understanding of the vital work our department does every day. We're excited to showcase our equipment and interact with residents of all ages."

Hosted at 1017 Myrtle Street, the Touch-A-Truck event promises an engaging experience for attendees of all ages. From utility vehicles to construction equipment, attendees will have the chance to explore and interact with a diverse selection of vehicles that play crucial roles in maintaining our city's infrastructure.

Georgia Cities Week, sponsored by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA), celebrates the importance of cities and their contributions to the quality of life in Georgia.
