Local Owners-Operators grateful to give back across island

We’re honored to celebrate two years of serving Guests and communities in Puerto Rico. From donating surplus food to those in need to investing in local nonprofits, local Chick-fil-A Owners-Operators, Team Members and Chick-fil-A, Inc. bring care to life across the island in countless ways.

Here are a few ways we’ve worked together to create a positive impact in the past few years:

• Donating surplus food from Chick-fil-A restaurants to local nonprofits to help feed those in need through the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program

• Awarding two 2024 True Inspiration Awards® grants, totaling $275,000, to Banco de Alimentos de Puerto Rico and Friends of Puerto Rico in support of youth initiatives

• Donating $200,000 to Banco de Alimentos de Puerto Rico in 2022 to celebrate Chick-fil-A’s entry into Puerto Rico

• Partnering with Boys and Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico to sponsor 100 students in support of their education

• Awarding the first Team Member scholarship ($2,500) in Puerto Rico

• Engaging in disaster relief efforts during times of need

• Creating entrepreneurship opportunities for Puerto Rican small business owners who can apply to serve as local Chick-fil-A Owners-Operators

• Adding jobs for Chick-fil-A Team Members and providing opportunities for professional development and potential career advancement

We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve communities throughout Puerto Rico – and look forward to continuing to give back in the years ahead.
