Cavco Industries, based in Phoenix, AZ, but with plants across the US, builds the Fleetwood, Palm Harbor, Nationwide, and Fairmont brands, along with several others.  Cavco will now add the Destiny Homes brand to its portfolio, expanding Cavco’s business in the important Southeastern US and Florida markets.

Destiny Homes recently hosted a dealer show at its Moultrie location, modeling 6 homes with new floorplans, colors and finishes designed to meet growing consumer demand.

Through partnership with the Moultrie Colquitt County Development Authority, Cavco will continue production at the Moultrie location, retaining 247 Destiny employees and hiring up to an additional 30 new employees over the next three years.  Cavco has already begun adding new equipment to improve operations and respond to changing consumer demand.

According to Barbara Grogan, President of the Development Authority, the partnership with Cavco is a perfect opportunity for the community.  “Cavco has a history of providing wages and benefits that are attractive for employees and their families, as well as a work environment which is positive to the workforce.  We are glad to have the Cavco team join our community, and we look forward to many years of success and growth in the manufactured and modular home industry.”

Bill Boor, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cavco Industries, said “Destiny Homes has a strong reputation and a very talented management team. We are pleased to welcome them into the Cavco family of companies.  The combined operations will further enhance Cavco’s product line-up and distribution in the Southeastern United States housing market.”
