Jan. 9 | Law Enforcement Appreciation Day
The City of Valdosta will observe Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 10 a.m., at the Valdosta Police Department to recognize the 149 sworn personnel, 26 non-sworn support personnel and 14 part-time employees and their commitment to serve and protect the citizens of this community. Mayor John Gayle will present a L.E.A.D. proclamation to Chief of Police Brian Childress on behalf of the department at the event. Read more.

Jan. 9 | Zoning Board of Appeals Meets
The Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 9, from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the City Hall Annex, Multi-Purpose Room, located at 300 N. Lee Street. See city calendar.

The Valdosta City Council will meet for a work session on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 5:30 p.m., on the 2nd floor of the Valdosta City Hall Council Chambers, located at 216 E. Central Avenue. See city calendar.

Jan. 11 | VYC Meets for Leadership Training

Jan. 11 | Valdosta City Council Meets
The Valdosta City Council will meet on Thursday, Jan. 11, at 5:30 p.m., on the second floor of the Valdosta City Hall Council Chambers, located at 216 E. Central Avenue.
