The Leading Business of the Week is Awarded to Labor Finders

Staff Report From Valdosta CEO

In the 21st century things are constantly changing.  Years ago, if you were an employer with a position open, you would place an ad in the Classifieds section of the local newspaper.  Likewise, if you were looking for a job, you would comb through the ads looking for a position that fit your specific skill set.  Navigating today’s job market, however, can be challenging.  Labor Finders, 1803 Canterbury Drive, makes it their primary goal to connect labor resources with labor opportunities.

“In the past year, our Valdosta office has signed on several new companies, offering a wide range of positions from temporary or part-time, general labor to full-time, skilled professional level positions,” said office manager Samantha Ellison.

Labor Finders has been a member of the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce since 1998 and credits the Chamber with being a networking tool for their company.

“Each event we attend introduces us to new companies and representatives with interesting, new, and exciting marketing strategies,” said Ellison.
By focusing on individual employers and employees, Labor Finders strives to make the perfect employer-employee match.

“We understand that no two companies are the same, and not all employees share the same skill level,” said Ellison.
