Communicorp Receives Five Awards in the America Advertising Federation ADDY Competition

Communicorp, a subsidiary of Aflac and the largest regional provider of marketing and digital solutions, received the five ADDY Awards in the American Advertising Federation – Montgomery, Alabama, chapter competition.

Communicorp received a Gold ADDY for its “Aflac One Day Pay” campaign. The internal campaign targeted employees in the Customer Service and Claims processing departments, and it consisted of motivational, life-size wall clings of employees placed around the work area, catch-phrase wall clings, “movie” posters featuring employees as superheroes, digital signage, promotional products and email blasts. Elements of the internal campaign were used in the national campaign aimed at the consumer market.

Silver ADDYs were awarded for the Aflac Convention 2014 Campaign, the Aflac Convention 2015 Poster, the Aflac President’s Club 2015 Campaign and the Tuskegee University Integrated Campaign. These campaigns included various marketing channels, among them direct mail, email, digital signage, banners and promotional products to convey the marketing message to the targeted audiences.

The American Advertising Awards program is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative creative competition, recognizing creative excellence in the art of advertising. Sponsored by the AFF, more than 40,000 total entries are entered nationally each year. All told, 160 entries were entered and judged in the Montgomery competition.

Over the years, Communicorp has received numerous awards, including being nationally  recognized three times by the Printing Industries of America (PIA) – Premier Print Awards, one of the most highly coveted awards in the print industry, the annual Best Workplace in the Americas award and Best of the Best honors. The company has also recently received two Gold Ink Awards from Printing Impressions Magazine, along with the prestigious Quality Management Certification for meeting standards established by the International Organization for Standards (ISO).
