The Chamber Ambassadors recently joined PruittHealth Hospice for its ribbon cutting. Community Relations Representative Jamie Baltrus was excited to receive so much support. “It was a great success,” said Baltrus. “Receiving support from the Chamber members and the unity of our team made this event successful.”

PruittHealth Hospice, previously known as United Hospice, has served the area by providing consulting and pharmaceutical services, medical and nutritional supply, and therapy to families since 1993. “We wanted to achieve a more unified image for our vast array of health-care services,” said Baltrus of the re-branding efforts. “We provide families and loved ones in the Valdosta community and surrounding areas with care for home settings as well as nursing home facilities,” said Baltrus. “Although our name has changed because of the branding we want the community to know that we still provide exceptional services,” said Baltrus.
