Silver Eagle Jewelry Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Press release from the issuing company

Friday, August 29th, 2014

Silver Eagle Jewelry recently hosted its ribbon cutting ceremony, marking its new Chamber membership. Manager Joy Eason was enthusiastic about being incorporated into the local business community. “It was very exciting to be part of and share this moment with everyone that attended,” said Eason.

Although they opened last November on Black Friday Eason wanted to host an official opening that would allow Silver Eagle to become more visible within the community. The ribbon cutting ceremony marked the business's official “Grand Opening” in Valdosta. “I believe this will bring positive attention to Silver Eagle Jewelry,” said Eason.

Joy was inspired by her husband to create a business that would be fun. “At the expense of having two teenage daughters I wanted to sell fashion products at an affordable price,” said Eason. She saw an opportunity to open a boutique selling a variety of items that include fashion scarves, hats, pocketbooks, jewelry, and clothing to the Valdosta community. Eason wanted to give something back to the community, and provide fashionable and affordable options for everyone. “Feeling and looking beautiful should not be expensive,” she said.

Silver Eagle Jewelry is located on 3003 Bemiss Road and is open from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Mon. through Fri. and 10 a.m. to 4 pm on Sat. For more information about the Chamber ribbon cuttings, please contact Wanda Stanley at (229) 247 – 8100 ext. 232.
