The new Turner’s Budget Furniture at 3209 Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee is officially open. With this new store, Turner Furniture has expanded the company to now include ten locations that serve South Georgia and North Florida.

“We have been proud to serve our South Georgia and North Florida friends and neighbors, and our brand new Tallahassee store offers the same great values and selection found in our other stores, with the convenience of being right in town. We are also pleased to offer Tallahassee’s first La-Z-Boy Comfort Studio, which will showcase recliners, sofas and much more,” said Fortson Turner who, with his brother Austin, is the fourth generation owner of Turner’s Fine Furniture and Turner’s Budget Furniture, which both include mattress centers.

According to Turner, their membership with the Furniture First national buying cooperative of over 200 retailers collectively operating 430 stores gives them access to volume buying power, which in turn allows them to offer a wide selection of affordable merchandise from a variety of brand name manufactures under one roof. Providing value, quality and selection is something for which Turner’s has become known.

At the new Turner’s Budget Furniture, local residents will find everything from sofas, recliners and accent chairs to bedroom sets, dining tables, home office furniture and much more from brands like La-Z-Boy, Ashley, Lane, Tempur-Pedic, Serta, Restonic Mattresses and others. The new location also offers a few select brands found at Turner’s Fine Furniture including Paula Deen and Flexsteel leather. Turner says most items are in stock and ready for immediate delivery to surrounding communities.

As part of the grand opening celebration, customers can take advantage a variety of promotions including the chance to win a share of $10,000 in free furniture and mattresses plus a free dinnerware set with purchase of a five piece or seven piece dining group.

Turner’s has been in business for over 99 years and now has a total of 10 stores – six Turner’s Budget Furniture locations and four Turner’s Fine Furniture locations - serving Albany, Leesburg, Tifton, Valdosta, Moultrie and Thomasville, Georgia (just 10 minutes North of Tallahassee’s Chiles High School) and now in Tallahassee on Apalachee Parkway.
