Cheddar's Casual Cafe (270 Norman Drive) Score; 96 A

Violations: Numerous pans stacked/stored on shelves "clean" with dried food debris and not clean to sight and touch. Veggie chopper and tomato slicer with small amounts of food debris. 

 

March 22nd

Chick-Fil-A (1197 Lakes Blvd - Lake Park) Score: 100 A

Violations: None

 

March 25th

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store (1195 St. Augustine Rd) Score: 96 A

Violations: Slicer observed with buildup, tomato slicer observed with debris, knives put up on clean rack without being w/r/s, spatulas with visible debris observed stored in clean are, food splatter observed on to-go lids, food debris observed on 2 of 4 cleaned steamer kettles. 

 

Manny's Sub Shop (1211 Baytree Rd) Score: 82 B

Violations: Meat slicers x 2 with small amount of meat debris remaining after being cleaned. Blades removed and clean on shelf. This is a MUST to clean and sanitize thoroughly. This is a risk to not clean properly. Slicer cleaned prior to leaving inspection. PHF items in Ch units not at 41 or below. Recommend discarding any items in unit above 43 degrees. Cheesesteak noted in HH well at 129 degrees. Discarded upon request. Water noted to be low in equipment. Observed thawed portions of ready-to-eat potentially hazardous food above 41 degrees Fahrenheit while being thawed in standing water in prep sink. Observed numerous bags of cheesesteak and 1 bag of meatballs thawing in standing water in prep sink at 62 and 55 degrees, respectively. PIC reports it was put in sink right after lunch. Recommend discarding. Discarded. Discussed approved methods to thaw and gave suggestions regarding thawing in RIC.
