Southwest Georgia Bank Grows in Valdosta

Southwest Georgia Bank hosted a Business After Hours on Thursday, taking the opportunity to showcase their North Valdosta Branch to approximately 200 Chamber members and guests.
“All of us at Southwest Georgia Bank are extremely excited and humbled by the support we have received from the community. Even though we are new to Valdosta, we are not new to South Georgia Banking having served our neighboring communities for 84 years. We are a true community bank that only serves South Georgia markets, so we understand that our customers want local decisions and personalized customer service,” said Jeff Hanson, SGB Chief Banking Officer/ Executive Vice President.
SGB continued the celebration by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for its second full service banking center, located at 1404 Baytree Road, on Friday morning.

In addition to conventional personal and business banking services, the bank provides investment planning and management, trust management, mortgage banking, and commercial and individual insurance products. Insurance products and advice are provided by Southwest Georgia Insurance Services, a division of Southwest Georgia Bank.
