“Shop Small” with The Valdosta Chamber and the SEEDS Center November 25th

Staff Report From Valdosta CEO

Thursday, November 16th, 2017

The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber and the SEEDS Business Resource Center invite you to “Shop Small” with us on Saturday, November 25.

With an overwhelming percentage of local businesses in Valdosta and Lowndes County being small business, the Chamber and SEEDS Center encourages awareness and support of those businesses. Your patronage of a small business promotes growth and life within our community, and their owners are likely your neighbor!

The “Shop Small” initiative began with American Express in 2010 to encourage people across the country to support their small, local businesses. American Express continues to sponsor and promote “Shop Small” today.

“It is so important for us as citizens to support these small businesses in our community; from a business standpoint, they need to know that we have their backs and that we want to see them thrive,” said Betty Morgan, Chamber Vice President for Business Development.

Follow the SEEDS Business Resource Center on Facebook for just a few of our local small business members that will be participating in Shop Small on the 25th and while you’re out-and-about this holiday season, #Snap-a-Selfie with your favorite small business! Post it to the SEEDS Facebook page so we can see what you’re up to!
