Staff Report From Valdosta CEO

Tuesday, July 1st, 2014

The City of Valdosta and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) have partnered to host a Small Business Resource Fair on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the James H. Rainwater Conference Center.

Participants in the Valdosta Small Emerging Business (VSEB) program, business owners utilizing the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce’s SEEDS Center, and any citizen who owns or is thinking of starting a small business will have the opportunity to gather free information from more than 35 small and micro business service providers.  Resource providers who offer local businesses the tools for growth and development—such as  loans, grants, and technical and educational services—will be on hand to answer questions and  present information on a variety of topics of interest to small business owners.

No registration is required for this free event.  A final list of vendors and a schedule of presenters will be available after July 18 at www.valdostacity.com.
