Hello.  My name is Micah Shapiro.  I’m with Shapiro Properties.  I own and operate a full-service real estate, commercial real estate firm.  We do development, site locations, property management, build-to-suits, kind of the full gamut.  We can take the property from a division that you have to a key in the door and you can start your business up.  We’ve been in the business for over ten years.  I grew up in the real estate—commercial real estate industry, and then started my own company.  

I did some brokerage up in Atlanta in 2000—about 2005.  Started Shapiro Properties in 2003 as an investment firm and then branched it out to the brokerage and development firm as an independent company and have then moved to Valdosta.  I started that, working at Valdosta since 2006, I think.  So we’ve been in Valdosta developing and brokering commercial real estate properties for about five years, six years now. 

We started a property management division a few years back.  We do do some residential property management, apartments, and duplexes.  We’ve got retail centers, single-tenant centers, dollar generals, strip centers.  We can handle any size or, you know, multi-tenant, single-tenant units.
