Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Celebrates First Career Plus Graduates, Opening Doors to New Opportunities

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College proudly celebrates the graduation of the college’s first Career Plus High School graduates, marking a significant milestone for the Adult Education program and the students who successfully completed the pathway.
The first graduates of the Career Plus High School program are Lowndes County residents Unique Brown, Javrious Nelson, and Austin Hesters. The students completed the program under the guidance of Susan Pollock, Career Plus Coordinator at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. Career Plus High School provides students who did not complete high school with an opportunity to earn a high school diploma while gaining workforce training and industry-recognized credentials in high-demand career fields.
The program offers flexible learning opportunities, online coursework, and individualized support services designed to help students achieve educational and career success. Career Plus High School allows students to transfer eligible high school credits while pursuing career-focused training that prepares them for employment and continued education opportunities.
