SGMC Health Names Kostelecky Director of Patient Business

SGMC Health announces the promotion of Libby Kostelecky to Director of Patient Business in the Patient Financial Services department. In this role, Kostelecky will oversee customer service, financial counseling, patient refunds, and self‑pay vendor management, supporting the health system’s continued focus on access, clarity, and an exceptional patient experience.
Kostelecky brings nearly 20 years of service to SGMC Health, having joined the organization in June 2006. She began her career in Patient Financial Services in a part‑time role and has since advanced through positions in self‑pay collections, team leadership, management, and director‑level leadership. Her deep institutional knowledge and patient‑focused approach have been instrumental in strengthening financial operations across the health system.

As Director of Patient Business, Kostelecky will continue to focus on streamlining financial processes while ensuring compassionate communication and guidance for patients navigating their care.
