Ace Electric Earns ABC Accredited Quality Contractor Credential and Climbs ENR Rankings

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Monday, December 1st, 2025

Ace Electric, Inc. of Valdosta, Georgia, today announced that it has been named an Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), recognizing the company’s ongoing commitment to excellence and corporate responsibility. Only 591 of the nation’s merit shop construction contractors earned the credential in 2024.

Ace Electric is also rising on Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) national lists. The company is ranked No. 127 on the 2025 Top 600 Specialty Contractors list (up from No. 155 in 2024) and No. 38 on the 2025 Top 50 Electrical Contractors list (up from No. 48 in 2024). Electrical Construction and Maintenance (EC & M) Magazine also ranks them in the top 50 specialty contractors nationally.

Ace Electric President of Corporate Support, Rob Stalvey, says, “Our AQC credential and trade publication (ENR and EC&M) rankings tell the same story—Ace Electric is committed to doing things the right way for our people, our clients and our communities. Safety, quality, training and a company culture of family aren’t just lip service here; they're the way we build every project and the foundation of our growth and success.”

National Recognition for Quality, Safety and Workforce

Established more than three decades ago, ABC’s Accredited Quality Contractor program recognizes industry-leading construction firms that have documented their commitment in five key areas: Quality, Health and safety performance, talent management, craft and management education and community relations.

To earn the AQC designation, companies must also demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety by achieving Gold, Platinum or Diamond level in ABC’s STEP® Safety Management System, a national framework for measuring and improving safety programs. STEP participants consistently achieve incident rates significantly better than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average.

Reaccredited annually, AQC members commit to providing clients with high-quality construction services, caring for employees and the communities where they build, and investing in the skills and training needed for employees to work safely and productively.

AQC is recognized by the Construction Users Roundtable, an organization founded by leading construction project owners, and AQC members are eligible for ABC’s Top Performers lists, which rank contractors based on work hours and performance.
