Wild Adventures Theme Parks fourth annual Great Pumpkin LumiNights event is returning in September and October, alongside the nation's biggest Pumpkin Spice Festival to bring more lights, pumpkins and delicious fall treats.

“Great Pumpkin LumiNights has become an annual fall tradition for families throughout our region,”said Jon Vigue, vice president and general manager. “We are excited to expand the event this year with new additions to make Great Pumpkin LumiNights even more memorable and fun.”

With hundreds of glowing pumpkins, the park transforms into a“jungle of jack-o-lanterns.”The signature attractions of Great Pumpkin LumiNights are towering animal statues. Each one is hand-crafted and made of stacked, carved pumpkins.

“This year, we will be adding a ferocious lion, an impressive zebra, and a‘flamboyance’ of flamingos to our statue collection,” said Vigue.“Each statue glows brightly in the night and creates opportunities for families to create perfect fall photos with each other.”

This year’s Great Pumpkin LumiNight event will also feature new light displays, including the twinkling lights of the Foggy Forest, the illuminated wonder of the all-new Glow Grove and the Twilight Tunnel. The additions are aimed at creating a family-friendly fall experience for all ages.

“My favorite part about these new additions is how they appeal to each of our guests,”said Adam Floyd, director of sales and marketing. “The light displays of Foggy Forest, Glow Grove and Tunnel of Lights are impressive, immersive and create a unique experience our guests won’t find anywhere else. But most importantly, these new expansions are just fun.”

In addition to the new light displays and statues, Wild Adventures will also debut the Garden of Giants, which features enormous live pumpkins that weigh between 700 and 1,000 pounds.

“Our Garden of Giants is filled with pumpkins that are truly larger than life”, said Floyd. “All together, these enormous pumpkins weigh over 7,000 pounds.”

Wild Adventures is also expanding an attraction that was introduced last year, the LumiNight Legends Pumpkin Gallery, which features intricately carved pumpkins of famous faces, places and more from throughout Georgia and Florida.

“Last year, we collaborated with master pumpkin carver Jim Morey to create an impressive gallery of carved pumpkins that was a huge hit with our guests,” said Emasia Craig, marketing manager.“ Jim has worked hard to increase our gallery, creating over 175 carvings.”

Great Pumpkin LumiNights will also feature new entertainment, even more carved and illuminated pumpkin displays throughout the park as well as the country’s largest celebration of a classic fall flavor, The Pumpkin Spice Festival.

Guests can enjoy nearly 30 pumpkin spice-inspired sips, bites, snacks and treats including new additions like Pumpkin Patch Corn Dog with Swirly Fries, Pumpkin Pie Punch, and many others.

“Fall at Wild Adventures is a magical time, and we are bringing more spice and more glow than ever before,” said Craig. “We can’t wait to welcome our guests to enjoy thrilling rides and pumpkin spice treats during the day and glowing fun and entertainment at night.”

Great Pumpkin LumiNights begins Friday, September 20 and continues every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October. The event is included with park admission or a Season Pass. 2025 Season Passes are on sale now for the lowest price and provide admission now through Great Pumpkin LumiNights, the park’s new holiday event, Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright, and all of 2025.
