Ace Electric, Inc. introduces Tim Joyce as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Due to the nation’s  growing infrastructure in select market sectors, Ace has experienced substantial increases in revenue and employment,  as well as new customers and partnerships, generating the need for new executive leadership. Ace is looking forward to  using Tim’s experience and fresh perspective to continue to sensibly grow the team, all while maintaining a focus on  safety and the family culture the company is known for. 

With extensive experience in leading commercial and industrial organizations, Tim brings a wealth of knowledge to  growing companies through safety, team building, strategic execution, process improvement, and acquisition integration.  In his previous roles, he served as President of an industry-leading European electric vehicle charging manufacturer and  as a Managing Director for a global company in the U.K. and Ireland. 

Ace Electric was founded in the Valdosta area in 1975 by Tom Stalvey, Sr and a partner. In 1976, Tom’s brother, Bobby  Stalvey purchased the partner’s stake in the company and the two brothers worked hand in hand, leading the company  with emphases on integrity, quality and workmanship from a small residential and commercial contractor to a major  player in the southeastern US. Growing up in the electrical trade, their sons, Rob and Tommy Stalvey, now serve as  Presidents. 

Rob Stalvey adds, “We are excited to have Tim join our team. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as well as  a fresh perspective on the industry that will contribute to the continued success of our company”. 

Almost 50 years from its founding, Ace is now taking on larger projects, employing over 1,200 men and women. They  perform electrical installations in many construction market segments including commercial, industrial, distribution,  education, manufacturing and mission critical. The company remains headquartered out of Valdosta, GA with Division  Offices in four Georgia cities: Valdosta, Macon, Statesboro and Atlanta; Sanford, NC, Jackson, TN and Plain City, OH.
