A "wild" culinary event returns to Wild Adventures in August, offering guests exclusive menu items, visiting food vendors, live music, cultural performances and discount admission.

Wild Food Weekends return for the third year, starting Saturday, August 10, and continuing each Saturday and Sunday through August 25. This year's event features six new menu items: Smoked Bologna Burnt Ends, Loaded BBQ Pork Rinds, Strawberry Crunch Funnel Cake, Boba Iced Coffee, Loaded BBQ Pulled Pork Flatbread, and a Chocolate Covered Strawberry Milkshake.

Returning from last year are chicken wings tossed in "Gator Sauce," a special hot sauce containing Pepper X, recognized by Guinness World Records as the "World's Hottest Chili Pepper."

"Wild Food Weekends is a culinary journey that combines incredible flavors with vibrant entertainment,” said Madison Tucker, public relations specialist. “Guests can try wild flavor combinations, including sauce made from the world’s hottest pepper, and twists on hometown favorites throughout our restaurants while enjoying live entertainment and more incredible food from various vendors.”

New this year, guests can sample each "wild food" with the Wild Food Weekends Flavor Card. The card includes sample sizes of all seven menu items and an Unlimited Soda wristband for complimentary soda refills during their visit. 

"The Flavor Card is a new way to experience Wild Food Weekends, giving you the chance to sample the entire menu for one low price,” said Tucker.

Guests can also look forward to the return of local vendors, Nuestro Divino Salvador and The Upper Room. These vendors will host outdoor pop-up restaurants featuring authentic Hispanic and Latin menus, including tacos, tamales, and elote.

"Wild Food Weekends is about more than just fun flavors,” said Tucker. “It is a celebration of food and culture, and we want everyone to enjoy the festivities, from the delicious food to the live entertainment. Guests can view captivating performances of traditional Hispanic and Latin dances throughout the park and listen to live music every evening at the Water’s Edge Stage.”

Wild Adventures is also offering a special discounted admission rate, allowing guests to save 50% on Single Day Admission when purchasing online from August 10 through August 25.

Additionally, Passholder Bring-A-Friend Weekends return every Saturday and Sunday in August. Gold and Diamond Season Passholders can bring a friend to enjoy all the festivities of Wild Food Weekends with them.
