Valdosta State University Fundraiser Shines Light on Local Non-profit

On Thursday, Professor Tom Hochschild’s Sociology of Poverty class hosted a fundraising event at the Valdosta State University Center to support the Lowndes Association of Ministries to People (LAMP) and its mission.
LAMP provides emergency shelter to men, women, and families in Lowndes and surrounding counties. In addition to temporary housing, LAMP includes case management and other treatment services.
