Hospice Satilla announces the election of seven new members to its Board of Directors. They join a group of twelve community leaders who have guided the quality hospice and community services provided by the local non-profit organization.

“It is with great pleasure to welcome these seven individuals to the Hospice Satilla Board, said Debra Golden, Executive Director of Hospice Satilla. “Each person brings their unique gifts and talents to the table to make our agency more diverse and prepared for the future.”

The Board of Directors, who are elected for a 3-year term, help guide the mission and strategic direction of the organization to meet the end-of-life needs of the community and supports its fundraising efforts and commitment to continue to provide care to all who need it, regardless of their ability to pay. The three fundamental duties of all non-profit board members are duty of care, duty of loyalty, and duty of obedience.
