Renasant Appoints New Valdosta Advisory Board Members

Renasant Bank announced today that they recently appointed three new Advisory Board members including Chase Daughtrey, Cook County Probate Court Judge; Tina Folsom, Attorney at Langdale Vallotton, LLP; and Lee Mackey, President and Owner of Mackey Lumber Company. They will be joining current Advisory Board members Dr. Carly Thomas, Paul Nichols (Chairman of the board), Dr. David Parker and Dr. Oscar Aguero.

We know we will gain much knowledge and insight to carry with us while continuing to grow and invest in South Georgia," said Terry Bennett, Valdosta Market President.

Chase Daughtrey currently resides as the Probate Court Judge of Cook County in Adel. When elected in 2008, Daughtrey was the youngest judge in the State of Georgia. Daughtrey, a South Georgia native, received his undergraduate degree at Kennesaw State University and Judge's Certification from The Carl Vinson Institute of Government at University of Georgia. He is very involved in state-wide initiatives via his position as Probate Court Judge, but he is also involved in local community organizations such as the Adel Industrial Development Authority and the Tift Regional Health System Board of Directors. Daughtrey was named Cook County Man of the Year in 2020.

Tina Folsom has been an attorney at Langdale Vallotton, LLP since 2006. She received both her undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University, and her master's degree from Florida State University. Folsom is a steadfast community volunteer. She currently acts as Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Turner Center for the Arts, and President of the Board of Directors for Tennis Valdosta. Folsom also acted as President of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, and is on the Super Lawyers List, which consists of the top five percent of lawyers in the State.

Lee Mackey is the Owner and President of Mackey Lumber Company. Mackey has been a small business owner in Valdosta for more than 30 years having also owned Bray Truss Company and Structural Specialties of Valdosta. He attended Valdosta High School and Valdosta State University. He is an active member of the Valdosta/Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce and First United Methodist Church of Valdosta.
