The City of Valdosta Public Information Office has launched a new podcast series called "Let’s Talk Valdosta.”

The half-hour podcast will feature upcoming events, noteworthy news topics, and special guests from around the Valdosta community. The podcast will be recorded and released at least twice a month.

“We are excited to introduce this new podcast as yet another way to connect with our community. Our goal is to keep the community informed on the most up-to-date happenings in Valdosta!” said Public Information Officer, Ashlyn Johnson “Experts, leaders, and staff from various City departments will weigh in to address issues that are central to life in Valdosta. With various ways to obtain information from the City, this podcast will offer a unique option to hear about what’s going on in the City on the go, without looking at a screen of some sort.”

The podcast series is available on all major podcast distribution networks, including iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, IHeartRadio, and more. You can also access a video recording of the podcast by visiting the Metro 17 Youtube Channel.
