Pioneer Transformers L.P., a portfolio company of Mill Point Capital, announced it is rebranding as Spire Power Solutions L.P. (“Spire”), an industry leader providing a comprehensive range of transformers solutions across North America.

With five locations across North America, Spire operates three subsidiaries — including Pioneer Transformers in Granby, Quebec; Power Partners, and Jefferson Electric, both in Athens, Georgia; bringing together a complete product offering for utility, renewable energy, public power, commercial, and industrial markets.

Spire was originally formed during Mill Point Capital’s acquisition of Pioneer Transformers and Jefferson Electric in August 2019. Known then as Pioneer Transformers L.P., the company acquired Power Partners in November 2019.
