Greater Valdosta Community Christmas Parade Scheduled For December 7th

The Greater Valdosta Annual Christmas Parade sponsored by the City of Valdosta and the Ossipe Temple is scheduled for Saturday, December 7 at 6 p.m. This year the theme is “Christmas on Main Street”

The parade will start at Woodrow Wilson Drive and proceed south down N. Patterson Street and end in Downtown Valdosta!

“We are excited about the 2019 Greater Valdosta Community Christmas Parade! This annual tradition is something we all look forward to and serves as a way to not only celebrate the season but to also celebrate each other and the wonderful community we all love,” said Rachel Thrasher, Main Street Program Coordinator.

The parade application can be found on the Valdosta Main Street website for any organization that would like to participate.

The fee to enter a float in the parade is $50 for the first entry and $10 for each additional vehicle up to 4 total if they are all representative of the same brand/logo. Fees should be paid by November 22, 2019. There will be a $25 late fee for applications and fees received after November 22. Applications may be mailed to the Ossipe Temple No. 65, PO Box 874, Valdosta, GA 31603-9998 or placed in the drop box in the Valdosta City Hall Annex outside of the Main Street Office
