Valdosta City Council Work Session and Meeting
5:30 in Council Chambers May 7 and May 9
The Mayor and the members of the City Council invite and encourage citizens to attend City Council meetings whenever possible because good government depends on the interest and involvement of citizens. City Council meetings are held on the first and third Thursday following the first Sunday of the month, although changes may be necessary to avoid conflict with holidays. All City Council meetings are open to the general public.

Valdosta Police Department is hiring for police officer positions. We are hosting an open testing session for anyone interested in becoming a police officer with our agency. 300 N. Lee Street, Valdosta, GA, on June 1, 2019 at 9 a.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
This interactive day with merchants results in a beautiful floral arrangement for Mom.
Make a minimum $20 purchase with one of the participating downtown merchants. Bring your receipt to the Main Street table and get your ticket to collect a flower from all of the participating merchants!

The City of Valdosta National Drinking Water Event will be held at 3863 Guest Road, Valdosta, GA 31605 on Friday, May 10, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Public is invited to attend.
