Taste of Valdosta sponsored by Valdosta Quota Club will be held 6-9 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at James H. Rainwater Conference Center.

Tickets are $25 each and available at Brooker Insurance, 1808 Jerry Jones Drive, Synovus Bank, 3650 Perimeter Road, or they may be purchased at the door, organizers said.

Food tasting from Honey Baked Ham, Angel Cakes, Olive Garden, DuMealz, Rodeo Mexican Restaurant, Outback Steakhouse, Small Cakes, Jack's Chophouse, Sam's BBQ, Stoner's Pizza Joint, Louie Smalls, Aramark, Cinnaholic will be available, organizers said. 

Tea will be provided by Chick-fil-A, St. Augustine Road.

There will be wine tasting by Horse Creek Winery, cash bar, silent auction and dancing to music by Danny and the Jets, organizers said.

Proceeds to benefit South Georgia House of Hope, Southside Recreation Center and other local charities, they said.
