The Georgia Department of Labor is helping Mortenson Construction fill positions for the construction of the Hamilton Solar Plant in Jasper, Fla.
 
The event will be held Aug. 21 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Valdosta Career Center, 221 S. Ashley St, Valdosta.
 
Positions being filled include:
 
Water Truck Operator

Forklift Operator

Carpenters

Heavy Equipment Operators

Electricians

Foremen

Inventory Specialists

Apprentice Electricians

Craft Safety Professionals, and

Solar PV Installers.
