Valdosta North Rotary Inducts Officers

Rotary District 6920 Governor Nominee, Steve Barnes, led the induction ceremony for the 2018-2019 Officers and Board of Directors of the Valdosta North Rotary Club at its regularly-scheduled meeting on June 26. Clarence Spires, 2017-2018 Club President, passed the gavel to Laura Love, who has been an active Rotarian for the past 18 years. Other Valdosta North officers include: Danny Broyles, president-elect; Jimmy Miller, secretary; Mark Northcutt, treasurer; Zach Hageman, sergeant-at-arms; Clarence Spires, immediate past-president; and board members-at-large Vivian Miller-Cody, Brian Haugabrook, Heather Ferguson and Tammy Goodin.
Numerous other members hold chairmanships and these include: Jason Wisenbaker, membership; Courtney Gooding, public image; John Dukes, GRSP; Cody Broome, service projects; Nearing Adams, vocational service; Sheryl Dansinger, socials and celebrations; and Bob Harrison, Danny Broyles & Hunter Colson, club bulletin.
Love said that she is excited to involve Valdosta North Rotary in local, national and international initiatives that will make this world a better place. Love wants to see the club grow its membership and service efforts in the areas of education, literacy and quality-of-life throughout the local community and abroad.
