The deadline to apply for vacant city board, commission, authority and advisory committee positions is Wednesday, May 2. The City of Valdosta has 11 vacancies on a variety of boards, commissions, authorities and advisory committees for which they are seeking community-minded people to apply. May 4-5 | Congratulations VSU Graduates!
The City of Valdosta congratulates all graduates participating in Valdosta State University’s spring commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5. Motorists should use caution when traveling around the campus—particularly around the P.E. Complex located on Baytree Road—and throughout the city this weekend, as an increase in motorists and pedestrians is expected due to the celebratory events.
