The Georgia Department of Labor and a number of partners will host a job fair April 26.
 
The event will run from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Rainwater Conference Center, 1 Meeting Place, Valdosta.
 
The South Georgia Coalition for Employment, consists of a wide variety of local
support agencies with one common goal, helping our community find employment. Partners include the Valdosta Police Department, Georgia Department of Community Supervision, the City of Valdosta, Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce, Boys and Girls Clubs of Valdosta, PAXEN, TELAMON, The Southern Christian Leadership Conference, Wiregrass Technical College, Goodwill and many others.
 
The 3rd annual Creative Paths to Employment Career Fair is an excellent chance to gather information and apply for work.
