March 12-17 | South Georgia Loves Moody Week
Berrien, Cook, Lanier, and Lowndes counties are celebrating their recent designation as a 2018 Great American Defense Community--one of only five in the nation! March 12 - 17 has been deemed South Georgia Loves Moody Week with a week-long schedule of activities that celebrates the men and women at Moody Air Force Base and their families. See schedule of events here, and find a way to celebrate Moody this week.
March 13 | Central Valdosta Development Authority Board Meets
The Central Valdosta Development Authority Board will meet on Tuesday, March 13, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., in the City Hall Annex, Multi-Purpose Room, located at 300 N. Lee Street. See city calendar.
March 13 | Mayor’s Council for Persons with Disabilities Meets
The Mayor's Council for Persons with Disabilities will meet on Tuesday, March 13, at 1 p.m., at Goodwill Industries. The meeting is open to individuals who have an interest in making Valdosta a “City Without Limits” for community members with disabilities.
