Oct. 28 | City-Wide Bulk Trash Amnesty Day
This year’s City-Wide Bulk Trash Amnesty Day will take place on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 8 a.m. to noon. The event will allow city residents, who show water bill and photo ID as proof of residency, one trip to dispose of unwanted household items and other bulky trash items at no cost. Oct. 28 | Plein Air Art Competition
Downtown Valdosta Farm Days is about to become a little more colorful with a new competition called Plein Air Art. Artists are invited to attend the competition at the Farm Days market on Oct. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., located on Valley Street behind the historic courthouse. Oct. 28-29 | Moody Hosts Free Air Show
The community will have their eyes glued to the sky on Saturday, Oct. 28 and Sunday, Oct. 29 when Moody Air Force Base hosts the Thunder Over South Georgia Air and Space Expo.
