The Berrien County Chamber of Commerce, Berrien County Development Authority and Georgia Department of Labor are partnering to host a Job Seek Survey event on Tuesday, October 3rd at the Nashville Community Center, 107 North Davis Street, beginning at 11:30 am.

“The goal of the Job Seeker Survey event is to gain feedback from people looking for employment in Berrien County,” said Jamon Williams, Regional Coordinator for the Georgia Department of Labor.  “Participation in the survey will be anonymous, so it is an opportunity for job seekers to give an honest opinion of the job market in Berrien County.”

“The Chamber and Development Authority often receive inquiries from people looking for employment, and on the flip side we speak regularly with businesses looking for employees,” said Crissy Staley, executive director, Berrien County Chamber of Commerce and Development Authority. “Through the Job Seeker Survey, we hope to gain an understanding of why positions aren’t being filled, and work with our local partners to find solutions.”

Berrien County job seekers are invited to attend and participate in the Job Seeker Survey.  Refreshments will be served and those that completely fill out the survey will be entered to win a $300 gift certificate from Digital Express Wireless in Nashville.
