July 5 | GPP Orientation for Student Interns
The City will partner with the Great Promise Partnership for a second year and will welcome 20 Valdosta High School junior and senior interns on Wednesday, July 5, at 8:30 a.m., in the City Hall Annex, Multi-Purpose Room, located at 300 N. Lee Street. The City will offer these students up to two years of employment in city government along with job training and income as an incentive to finish high school.

July 6 |City Council Meeting CANCELED
The regularly-scheduled City Council Meeting, which was scheduled for Thursday, July 6, have both been canceled. The next regularly-scheduled City Council Meeting will be held on Thursday, July 20, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, in the Council Chambers on the second floor, located at 216 East Central Avenue.

July 7 | First Friday
The popular First Friday event will feature live music, dining specials, shopping and more of the fun that the community expects on the first Friday of every month, beginning at 5 p.m., in beautiful downtown Valdosta. Visit Valdosta Main Street.
