July 11| MCPD Meets
The Mayor’s Council for Persons with Disabilities will meet on Tuesday, July 11, at 1 p.m., at LARC, located at 1646 E. Park Avenue. July 12 | Last day for People’s Choice Voting
The last day to participate in the People’s Choice Voting for the 9th Annual Valdosta People’s Choice Photo Contest at the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts is July 12, by 6 p.m.

July 10-14 | Road Repairs on N. Lee Street
The portion of N. Lee Street, between E. Jane Street and E. Brookwood Drive, will be closed for the repair of a sewer main. The small section of road is expected to be closed to traffic from Monday, July 10 until Friday, July 14, at the latest (weather permitting) while the repairs are being made.
Detour signs will be posted to direct the flow of traffic. For more information, contact the Utilites Department at 229-259-3592.

Lane Closures at Following Locations

A local contractor is installing fiber at three different areas on Highway 84. Motorists should observe work signs at the following locations:

Tuesday, July 11 - A portion of the inside westbound lane of W. Hill Avenue and Norman Drive will be closed.

Wednesday, July 12 - A portion of the inside westbound lane of W. Hill Avenue and St. Augustine Road will be closed.

Thursday, July 13 - A portion of the inside westbound lane at W. Hill Avenue and Ray Alley will be closed.
