The Mayor and City Council will meet for a work session on Tuesday, June 6, beginning at 5:30 p.m., which allows council members to spend an adequate amount of time discussing agenda items. The meeting is open to the general public and is held in the second floor Council Chambers of City Hall, at 216 E. Central Avenue.

The Mayor and City Council members invite citizens to attend the City Council meeting on Thursday, June 8, at 5:30 p.m., at Valdosta City Hall, in the Second-Floor Council Chambers, located at 216 E. Central Avenue. As always, the meeting is open to the general public. See city council agenda.  

June 10 | Farm Days
The popular Downtown Valdosta Farm Days will continue this Saturday, June 10, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the 100 block of E. Valley Street, located behind the historic courthouse in downtown Valdosta. The 2017 Farm Days season takes place on the first and third Saturday of the month through November. Looking for a local Fathers' Day gift? Plan to have a free 5x7 photo made with Wes Sewell Photography, on Saturday, June 10, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at 303 N. Patterson Street in Downtown Valdosta.
