June 6 | Zoning Board of Appeals Meets
The Valdosta-Lowndes County Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Tuesday, June 6, at 2:30 p.m., at the City Hall Annex Multi-Purpose Room, located at 300 N. Lee Street. See city calendar.  

June 6 | MPO Meets
The Metropolitan Planning Organization Citizens Advisory Committee will meet on Tuesday, June 6, at 3 p.m., at the Southern Georgia Regional Commission, located at 327 W. Savannah Avenue. See city calendar.  

June 6 | City Council Meets for Work Session
The Mayor and City Council will meet for a work session on Tuesday, June 6, beginning at 5:30 p.m., which allows council members to spend an adequate amount of time discussing agenda items. The meeting is open to the general public and is held in the second floor Council Chambers of City Hall, at 216 E. Central Avenue.

June 8 | Valdosta City Council Meets
The Mayor and City Council members invite citizens to attend the City Council meeting on Thursday, June 8, at 5:30 p.m., at Valdosta City Hall, in the Second-Floor Council Chambers, located at 216 E. Central Avenue. As always, the meeting is open to the general public. See city council agenda.  

June 10 | Farm Days
The popular Downtown Valdosta Farm Days will continue this Saturday, June 10, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the 100 block of E. Valley Street, located behind the historic courthouse in downtown Valdosta. The 2017 Farm Days season takes place on the first and third Saturday of the month through November. June 10 | Celebrate Dad with a Photo Downtown
Looking for a local Fathers' Day gift? Plan to have a free 5x7 photo made with Wes Sewell Photography, on Saturday, June 10, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at 303 N. Patterson Street in Downtown Valdosta. Participants may pick up their free printed photo at the studio on Wednesday, June 14 (just in time for Fathers' Day on June 18). Call 229-259-3577 for details.
