April 4 | Board of Appeals Meets
The Valdosta-Lowndes County Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Tuesday, April 4, at 2:30 p.m., at the City Hall Annex, Multi-Purpose Room, located at 300 N. Lee Street. See city calendar.

April 4 | City Council Work Session
The Mayor and the City Council invite citizens to attend the work session on Tuesday, April 4, at 5:30 p.m. The session is held in the second-floor City Hall Chambers, located at 216 E. Central Avenue, and is open to the general public. See city calendar.

April 4 | Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Observance
The Valdosta-Lowndes County Dr. King Commemoration Association Committee will have a memorial observance for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Tuesday, April 4, at 6 p.m., at MLK Jr. Memorial Park, located at the corner of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and South Ashley Street. April 6 | City Council Meets
The Mayor and the City Council invite citizens to attend the City Council meeting, on Thursday, April 6, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting is held in the second-floor City Hall Chambers, located at 216 E. Central Avenue, and is open to the general public. View the meeting agenda.

April 7 | First Friday
The popular First Friday event will take place on Friday, April 7 and will feature live music, dining specials and shopping beautiful downtown, beginning at 6 p.m. Enjoy the fun that the community expects on the first Friday of every month in Downtown Valdosta. April 8 | Spring Electronics Recycling Event
Citizens are encouraged to attend a community e-recycling event that will properly dispose of their unwanted electronics, while reducing unnecessary clutter on Saturday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Mathis Auditorium, located at 2300 N. Ashley Street. Read event flier for more information.

April 8 | Farm Days Begins
The popular Downtown Valdosta Farm Days kicks off this Saturday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the 100 block of E. Valley Street, located behind the historic courthouse in downtown Valdosta.
