Written during the late 1500s, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is a story about falling in love and the crazy, maddening complications that arise during the process. Featuring incidental music from Felix Mendelssohn’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” Op. 61, which was written in 1842 at the request of King Frederick William IV of Prussia, Shakespeare fans of all ages are sure to delight in this comedic tale of mistaken identity, unrequited love, enchantment, and happily ever after.
