LAMP Hosts its Annual Clay Shoot April 29th

On Saturday, April 29 from 8 am – 2 pm Lowndes Associated Ministries to People will host their annual Clay Shoot at Southwind Clays and Quail in Quitman, Georgia. The proceeds from this event will go directly into helping LAMP accomplish its mission of “A hand up, not a hand out”.  Teams are welcomed to support this cause and can contact Development Director, Sharah Denton for more information at [email protected] or 229-245-7157.
 
Teams of 5 will compete for the main prize – a gun. Tickets are $100 per team and registration begins at & 7:30 am.
 
Proceeds in 2016 helped house 261 single families and 107 men in the emergency shelter, place 171 former residents into permanent housing and helped to provide over 7,815 services to the area’s homeless.
 
“Because of the community’s contributions, we’re able to fulfill LAMP’s mission of ‘A hand up, not a hand out’,” LAMP Development Director, Sharah Denton said. “We’re looking forward to not only meeting with the community, but showing them how their involvement directly impacts the residents at LAMP.”
