UGA Small Business Development Center Offers Course in Digital Marketing

The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center at Valdosta State University, with a generous sponsorship from Guardian Bank, will present Maximum Contact from 10 a.m. to noon every Wednesday February 15 through March 15, 2017. Registration is $49 per person and includes all course materials.
Maximum Contact introduces entrepreneurs to the importance of online marketing and customer engagement and the necessity to strategically position their business online.
Throughout the five-week course, attendees will discuss Word of Mouth Marketing Online and how to use the power of online marketing to get your message to your customers. The instructors will cover What Search Engine Marketing is and how to increase sales with online paid marketing and why Search Engine Optimization is so important for your business and how to get your website found on the first page of search engines. Also discussed will be online marketing and how it affects content generation and showing you how to connect and engage with your customers to build long term relationships. Instruction will also be given on how using online tools & networks can help you further your business. Finally, the class will take a look at online tools and social networks and how to use them to engage your customers and drive them to your website.
Maximum Contact attendees will have the opportunity to meet privately with a Small Business Development Center consultant to discuss any specific business issues or challenges they may be facing.
