Archer Daniels Midland Company was named Leading Business of the Week this week.

ADM is one of the largest agricultural processors and food ingredient providers in the world, with more than 32,300 employees serving customers in more than 160 countries. ADM has been a proud member of the Valdosta business community since 1987 when we acquired a soybean processing plant from Gold Kist.

ADM currently employs approximately 265 people in Valdosta. We work with local farmers to procure soybeans, which we process into soybean oil and meal ingredients for food and animal feed for customers around the world.

ADM is focused on continuing our successful operations here in Valdosta as well as supporting programs and initiatives that improve the quality of life in this community. Since 2011, ADM has contributed more than $500,000 to charitable organizations throughout the state of Georgia.
