The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber held its 2016 State Legislative Lunch recently.

This year’s luncheon was co-hosted by the Valdosta Board of REALTORS, Rotary Club of Valdosta and Valdosta North Rotary Club and Home Builders Association of South Georgia. More than 275 members and guests were welcomed into Rainwater Conference Center for lunch.

Local delegation present included State Senator Ellis Black, State Rep. Amy Carter, State Rep. Jason Shaw, State Rep. Dexter Sharper and State Rep. John Corbett. The delegation was presented in a panel format, and each member of the delegation had an opportunity to speak, answer questions and discuss issues on top for the upcoming year.
