The Chamber Ambassadors recognized Pleats & Creases as Leading Business of the Week this week.

Pleats & Creases is a full service dry cleaning and laundry business that has been open since 1990 and under current ownership since 1995. The cleaning service has won “Best of South Georgia” over a dozen times and “Best of South Georgia” in Alterations since the award was created.

There are five retail locations, including four in Valdosta and one in Adel. “The opportunity to serve people for their cleaning needs, as well as getting to know them has been a highlight of the last 21 years,” said Evan Miller, owner of Pleats & Creases.

Pleats & Creases not only does personal dry cleaning, but is well involved in the community. They support schools, churches, and many other organizations. “We try to ‘put something’ back when we can!” Miller said.

Their customer service focused goals also accompany environmental concern. Most packaging they use is biodegradable and the detergent is environmentally safe. They also utilize the power of recycling with a “return for credit” system for the metal hangers used regularly.

Pleats & Creases has been a Chamber member for more than 10 years. “Our staff is focused on production, customer service, and consistent delivery of our product each day,” Miller said. “The Chamber is there to provide a consistent business focused message to the community.”
