Local Pediatrician Named Young Physician of the Year

SGMC Affiliated Pediatrician Jennifer Collier-Madon, MD has been named the Young Physician of the Year by the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Annually, the award is presented to a worthy member under the age of 40, who has made an outstanding contribution to pediatrics including research, improving access to care, developing model programs of care and/or service to the Chapter or child advocacy.
Specifically, the Georgia Chapter recognized Dr. Madon for her work improving healthcare access for children in foster care.
Dr. Madon is in private practice at 101 G West Northside Drive in Valdosta.
