Lowndes Associated Ministries to People, Inc. is hosting a Clergy Chat and Chew Session on Tuesday, August 23rd from 11 am to noon.  A free lunch will be included.  This session is the first of many to provide a tour of the facilities and the organizations role in providing services for local homeless families with children, single men and single women.  The lunch and learn is free and will be held at 714 Charlton St. in Valdosta.  LAMP is a nonprofit 501 C 3 organization that provides a hand up, not a hand out to local homeless individuals.  This lunch and learn is opened to local area Pastors, Clergy and Church Leaders in the nine surrounding counties that LAMP serves including Brooks, Berrien, Cook,  Lowndes, Lanier, Echols, Turner, Tift, and Thomas.  To reserve a seat and meal at the event contact LAMP's Development Director, Sharah Denton at [email protected] or call 229-245-7157 ext. 289.
