The Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting for Chancy Drugs to celebrate their 50th Anniversary and re-grand opening of their Hahira location.
 
The goal of Chancy Drugs is to be available for all of their patients at all times of their lives, making a difference one patient at a time. Established in 1966, Chancy Drugs filled a need in the community of Hahira. They have now grown to serve Adel, Lake Park, Moultrie and Valdosta.
 
Chancy Drugs’ Ready Med program, which looks at disease states and medication therapy management, is the core part of their pharmacy. The program includes monthly phone calls to patients discussing medication changes, OTC items and medication compliance.
 
Partnering with local industries, Chancy Drugs offers diabetes education to employees, thus decreasing absenteeism and healthcare cost.
 
In 2014, Chancy Drugs received accreditation by the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board for their commitment to providing the highest quality compounded medications.
